Namisindwa District on 19th May 2026 witnessed the official handover ceremony of the Office of the LCV Chairperson, marking the conclusion of the leadership tenure of Wakweika Jackson, who had served the district since May 2021.
The ceremony brought together district leaders, technical staff, political leaders, and other stakeholders who gathered to witness the transition and recognize the service rendered during his period in office.


During the ceremony, leaders and staff paid tribute to Wakweika Jackson for his leadership, commitment, and dedication to advancing the development agenda of Namisindwa District. Various speakers commended his efforts in supporting service delivery and strengthening governance structures aimed at improving the welfare of the people across the district.
