Pensioners Gathered at the District for Physical Headcount by the Office of the Auditor General

From July 8th to July 20th, the district witnessed a significant event as pensioners arrived in large numbers to participate in a Physical Headcount. Organized by the Office of the Auditor General, this exercise aimed to ensure that all pension records were accurate and up-to-date.

The Physical Headcount is crucial in enhancing transparency and accountability within the pension system, providing a clear and accurate record of all eligible pensioners.

The turnout was impressive, with pensioners from various parts of the district coming together for this essential exercise. The Office of the Auditor General had made extensive preparations to facilitate a smooth and efficient process, ensuring that all participants were attended to promptly.

This headcount was a testament to the commitment of our district and the Office of the Auditor General to maintaining a robust and reliable pension system. We appreciate the cooperation of all pensioners and look forward to the positive impact this exercise will have on our community.

Welcome to Namisindwa District

Namisindwa District is bordered by Bududa District to the north, Kenya to the east and south, Tororo District to the south-west, and Manafwa District to the west.
